"Good Morning, just back from a 850 mile round trip of mixed motorway, Welsh hills and A roads right up through Wales with a max load of 5 tonnes hauled by our 8.5 meter motorhome with a 3lt Mercedes engine on an auto box!! Returned 24mpg after your remapping [up from 21/22mpg]. All considered I thought this was not bad. The pick up and response on the auto box is much improved. With the current price of fuel this is on the right track."

 | This is a note to anybody wishing to enhance their motor home performance affordably. The team in Cross Hands
(Carafit) were really friendly and offered advice as to what type of tuning I needed. A small courtesy car was made available for the 1hr 30mins it would take. The difference is un-fathomable and has taken my Swift Kon-Tiki
669 with a 3 ltr powerplant, from 17mpg at 60 mph towing a car to 22mpg, and the ability to stay in gear on a climb, or for that matter actually overtake is staggering. Awesome job, thanks from a very satisfied customer.

Thought you would like to know that we have just completed our first trip after remapping by you.
The result was amazing. Much smoother, far less gear changing whilst towing the car and about 10% better fuel consumption. I think 27 mpg from
24.5 before is amazing for a big vehicle towing a car on a trailer. Magic! Thanks very much.

Many thanks for coming over last week and waving your magic wand.
We went to Bristol on Friday towing the Smart car and the motorhome was a real joy to drive. The combination of plenty of power, the automatic and cruise control made such an amazing difference. It will be great for those long treks across France or Spain. None of the inclines on the M4 caused any difficulty and we sailed up them at 60 in sixth gear.
It is difficult to provide a quantitative before and after comparison as I had so little experience before.
On the power front there seems to be lots and certainly the change from
130 bhp on the previous MH (before remapping) to the current figure of around 200 is very noticeable.
As far as economy is concerned, I registered around 24.5 mpg before on the journey from Southampton to home. That was without towing the car. On the recent trip, with car in tow, it was achieving around 26.5. So it looks like a good improvement here as well.
In summary, Paul, it was well worth the expense and makes a world of difference to the driving experience. Many thanks for you usual fast and efficient service.

Just wanted to put in writing, my thanks for a job well done. Since you remapped my Ford Transit Motorhome on 10th August 2009, I have found the vehicle more relaxing to drive, changing gear easily and smoothly. It's like getting into a different vehicle. I did have plenty of power to start off with and didn't think it could be beaten but since having the upgrade, the extra power is clearly noticeable. You can sail through the gears from first to sixth - so much easier - great. Thank you for turning up on time and for your friendly and efficient manner.  | I attended the Peterborough Motor Caravan Show and had my motorhome remapped I was sceptical at first whether it would work I am please to announce that the system works, I am pleased with the performance the power and torque as increased the engine from 84 bhp to 110 bhp. I will have to put a house brick under the accelerator to keep speed the down or I will get points on my License.

 | After much deliberation and Internet and motoring magazine research I booked my Peugeot Boxer based motorhome 2 litre HDI diesel. The job was done quickly and efficiently I took the van for a test run. On start up the engine felt a lot more free, and when I set off I couldn't believe the improvement - quicker, smoother through the gears, fewer revs on the counter over all the gears and the pulling power was amazing. Cruising in 5th is a revelation, smoother, quieter, less revs. In short, a complete success.

We would be most grateful if you could publish this record of our recent experience with WOW Tuning and in particular their agent Graham Shuttleworth of Wow Power Lancashire. We have a three year old Renault Master 2.5 100dci Devon Motorhome and for several months had been considering engine remapping in the hope of achieving more power for hills and overtaking; but we felt uneasy about interfering with the ECU settings. However, a month ago we decided to go ahead, and as there was no agent available in Scotland, WOW! headquarters suggested Graham Shuttleworth of WOW! Lancashire. We can not praise Graham too highly for the professional approach of his service. He came to our home, a distance of some 300 miles, and made only a modest extra fuel charge. The remapping took just over an hour and Graham made sure that we gave the van a good road test and were quite satisfied before he accepted payment. His whole attitude was caring, friendly and professional. The improved performance of the van is amazing! It is far more responsive, thus making it safer for overtaking. It is also quieter, quicker through the gears and with less gear changing is far more relaxing to drive. The engine now feels really on tune and unstressed, and after a long run seems to be more economical. All in all we are delighted and just wanted to share this experience with other motorhomers.

 | Want to say how pleased I am with the remap on the engine. Doing a regular trip fully laden with kids and bikes the difference is very noticeable. Power delivery from low down is smoother and more responsive and gear changes in top gear are now not required on hills when previously they were. Overtaking Lorries and coaches on the limited dual carriage way sections is also now more easily achieved. In all the driving experience is now a lot more enjoyable and smooth so cheers for that. I have a couple of interested friends so I will pass on your details.

Thoroughly recommended. I would have every diesel engine remapped - mine simply flies up hills in top even when towing the boat..... Economy over 3000 miles improved by about 2 mpg. We have just had a power remap done on our Rapido/Ducato 130 Multijet. This was done by Auto-Mate of Newark who is approved agents for WOW. Rob once worked for Brownhills Motorhomes and is a superb hands on man The system works by taking a copy of your Ducato engine map file (they are not all the same and do vary) by downloading to a laptop, sending that to WOW who then change it, send it back to Rob, who then loads it back into the Ducato ECU. Job takes about an hour, free coffee provided On the way back from Newark I was amazed at how smoother and quieter the engine ran and how I was able to use the 6th gear in circumstances where I would have had to change down before Happy wheels.

It was great to see you at the Carmarthen Show and to thank you for the wonderful job you did of remapping my Mobilvetta Euroyacht 290 which is based on a Fiat Duccato 2.8 for economy.
Before remapping I was getting about 21 mpg.Going down to Cornwall I was pushing it hard and returned 26mpg and whilst driving around through the narrow country lanes for 2 weeks still returned over 26mpg. On My way home to Llanelli, which was motorway nearly all the way and keeping to 50-55mph I returned a massive 31+ mpg.
So needless to say I am well pleased.Once again John thanks for a wonderful job. Well done Good luck for the future.
